Robin Hood Bay

Robin Hood Bay, near Whitby. Legend says it was here where Robin Hood kept his boats for a quick getaway and for smuggler operations. Since then the smuggler tradition was fondly cherished in the village.

Heather of North York Moors. You can’t fine a better honey than the Heather one of the Moors.

And, of course, fossils in the shale…

…and some folks getting really serious about them.

Very nice B&B/Hotel with decent prices, live music and excellent kitchen. Some people complain about boring or even horrible English food, but not me, and definitely not here, with the wide variety of specials form game birds to finest seafood.
